The Red Bed
Siya* sleeps warm and cuddly in our Red bed. This little boy
came to us when he was 11 months old, as his biological mother was no longer able to take care of him,
and he has been with us for 5 months.
|
|
|
He was our first little angel to stay at iThemba House, and having him with us over the festive season made us
appreciate once again the true meaning and spirit of Christmas. In January 2010 Siya* took his first steps,
which was very exciting, and he has not stopped running around the house since then and filling our hearts with joy.
Siya* loves his food and is developing beautifully every day. Slowly but surely he is starting to say words,
both in Xhosa and in English. He will be staying with us at iThemba House until a suitable foster home can
be found for him (which we hope will still be a long time, as we all love him to bits!!!!!)
